LOEX Conference Scholarship

  • To give more people an opportunity to attend the conference, LOEX has reserved at least one PAID registration for a librarian or library school student to attend the LOEX Conference for the first time. Each scholarship recipient will also receive a travel/lodging stipend of $250. Any additional conference-related expenses for LOEX 2026 are the responsibility of the recipient.

  • Interested librarians and graduate students currently enrolled in ALA-accredited MLIS programs are encouraged to apply. Preference will be given to applicants who have been members of the profession for fewer than five years and to those whose information literacy & instruction interests include work with a wide-variety of student populations.

  • To apply, please send:
  • - A current CV, including number of years in the profession
  • - A 500-word essay describing your interest and accomplishments in information literacy services and why you want to attend LOEX for the first time

  • Submissions will be accepted by email only and should be addressed to:
  • - Carrie Ludovico, LOEX 2026 Scholarship Chair, scholarship2026@loexconference.org

  • Deadline for submission is March 16, 2026. The recipient will be notified by email by March 30, 2026.
