LOEX 2026 will be held in Norfolk, VA at the Hilton Norfolk The Main
- All conference events will be held at this hotel, with the exception of the restaurant dine-arounds and the Thursday afternoon pre-conference trip- LOEX has reserved a block of rooms for attendees at $189/night (not including taxes or fees).

March 6, 2026 Hotel Update: - The Hilton block for LOEX is basically sold out. We still might be able to get about five or so rooms by shifting around some "staff" rooms (so please feel free to check the link for that hotel), but that is obviously a limited amount. So we need other options as well, which are below:
Overflow Hotels
We have two options for overflow hotels, both within easy walking distance of the Hilton (less than a quarter mile) - Glass Light Hotel: a "boutique" hotel so rooms are limited; part of the Marriott "Autograph" Collection. Glass Light online form for LOEX is for $229/night (not including taxes or fees) - Norfolk Waterside Marriott: a typical large conference hotel. Marriott online form for LOEX is for $189/night (not including taxes or fees)
Past Updates:
Feb 26, 2026: We are currently sold out on Wednesday through Friday night. While we expect to get 5-10 more rooms from the hotel (those details are still being finalized), this will not be nearly enough. So we are currently getting contracts drawn up for at least one, and likely two, overflow hotels in Norfolk. This page will be updated next week (week of March 2) when we have more information; all attendees will also be emailed once the additional rooms are available. Feb 18, 2026 - We are currently sold out on Wednesday day night and are close to being sold out on the other nights. We are working with the hotel on getting more rooms across all nights in the block. This page will be updated when we have more information.
*NOTE ON HOTEL REGISTRATION FORM FOR THE HILTON: The hotel-provided online form defaults to "quick booking" each guest to 4 nights (Wed-Sat). If, like most attendees, you will only be staying 2 or 3 nights: 1) Click on the "Edit Stay" link in the upper right (see image below) 2) Click on the "6 MAY" and/or "10 MAY" dates at the top and select the dates you plan to arrive (e.g., 7 MAY) and depart (e.g., 9 MAY) and then click the blue "Update" button. 3) Click on the blue "Quick Book $189" button for the room type you would like from those that are available, and you should have the correct nights. LOEX tried to get the Hilton to change this unnecessarily complicated process but was unsuccessful. Let us know if you have any questions.

Travel Information

Hilton Norfolk The Main 100 E Main St Norfolk, VA 23510 Attendees flying in for the conference can arrive via Norfolk International Airport---it is about 10 miles from downtown Norfolk. Rideshare options, such as Uber of Lyft, are available; public transportation is not an option. In addition, Amtrak has a station, on the Northeast Regional, that is about a mile walk from the hotel If you are driving, self-parking is $18; there is EV charging on-site.
