Thank you for your interest in submitting a proposal for the LOEX 2019 Conference.
“I’m goin’ up north!” This is a phrase you’ll hear from a lot of Minnesotans every summer when we are ready to take a break, relax and recharge - dontcha know. The conference theme “Up North” signifies this mindset. At LOEX 2019, join us Up North around the proverbial campfire with your talented colleagues as we reflect, reconnect, and renew.
We invite you to CITY for LOEX CONFERENCE YEAR to showcase your innovations in library instruction.
Here are descriptions of available sessions and submission instructions:
Breakout Sessions: Traditional presentations and interactive workshops. As in previous years, these sessions will make up the large majority of the conference program (an estimated 55-65 sessions). Breakout Session proposals are due SESSION PROPOSAL DUE DATE. [deadline has passed]
Lightning Talks: Short (seven minutes maximum) presentations given during a single session by different presenters. There will only be a handful (maximum of five) of these presentations as they are intended to be an energizing, but small, part of the conference. Lightning Talk proposals are due LIGHTNING TALK PROPOSAL DUE DATE. [deadline has passed]
Poster Sessions: Students currently enrolled in a graduate program in library and information sciences along with librarians in resident or intern programs are invited to propose poster sessions. Poster Session proposals are due POSTER PROPOSAL DUE DATE. [deadline has passed]
