Culture

The Culture of Pittsburgh stems from the city's long history as a center for cultural philanthropy, as well as its rich ethnic traditions. The Cultural District is a fourteen-square block area in downtown bordered by the Allegheny River on the north, 10th Street on the east, Stanwix Street on the west, and Liberty Avenue on the south.
