Andy Warhol Museum Visit

Pittsburgh is the birthplace of internationally-renowned artist Andy Warhol. To take advantage of being in his hometown, conference attendees are invited to join us for an afternoon tour of the Andy Warhol Museum, located on the North Shore along the Allegheny and Ohio Rivers.
Group Visit Information
- Group rate is $18/person ; admission tickets are to be purchased at the Warhol just before the tour by each individual.
Show your LOEX conference name badge, available at the LOEX 2016 registration table at the Westin, to get the group rate.
- There are two tours scheduled:
- The first group (2:00pm) will be guided by an artist/educator; it has a limited capacity of 20. 4/12/16 update - It is now full.
- The second group (3:00pm) will be less formal (i.e., no tour guide) and thus has no capacity limit. There is no sign up for this self-guided vist; just show up at the appointed time.
- Attendees can walk with a group from the Westin hotel lobby (0.6 miles, or approximately 15 minutes from the Westin) that will leave at 1:30pm and 2:45pm, respectively. Other transportation options include the Port Authority Bus or taxi/Uber to and from the museum.
- Tours start promptly, so please plan enough travel time to join your selected group. However you get there, attendees will meet at the museum entrance lobby.
